Mind Manager 11 (from Mindjet, LLC)
The new Mind Manager 11, from Mindjet Corporation is a tool used for getting your thoughts and ideas organized. The concept can be applied to just about anything!
We use it as the basic foundation to build and link all of our maps. If you're going to use our maps, you'll need MindManager 8.

Topicscape Pro 2 (from 3D-Scape, Ltd)
Topicscape Pro 2 is the latest version of the Topicscape platform. If you like 3D landscapes, then you'll really like this product. Oh, what does it do? Good question! It can organize huge amounts of information. MindManager is a great tool - one of the best - but all 2D mind mappers have trouble handling large projects, which is where the 3D approach of Topicscape comes into its own.
It puts the information into 'nodes.' The nodes look like pyramids or cones.
Each node can be a library, holding gobs of information. For example, we store SAP training materials (yes, all of it) in one of these pyramids. Or, if you prefer to break things down, it has easy ways to do that.
Topicscape allows you to deal with as many other information management products as possible. You can now import and export various forms of text, import XML and OML, and export, HTML (web page), OPML and XML. Topicscape Pro 2 has a generalized XML import and export with XSLT to translate from one format to another.
